Even though it was windy, I went for a hunt today because I really just didn’t sit around in the morning. I decided to hit up a beach that I knew my gold chances wouldn’t be as good but at least it would be calmer and I can get a hunt in. I started at 8:30am for the 11am low tide. I worked close to shore and the silver ring came in at the end of the 1st hour. I continued at it and then moved offshore to head back and at the end of the 2nd hour came the unexpected little yellow in the scoop! :dingding: I couldn’t read it carefully but it seemed to be some type of birth pendant which I confirmed when I got back to the car with my reading glasses. :smart: I hunted for 4 hours and called it a day as the sun is starting to bite out there. I was a little surprised that I passed the century mark on coins but I was also rather busy during the hunt. Getting out for $3.35 in clad and a 1.2 grs. 14K charm is a good day in my book! :good:

Nice gold... thanks for reminding me about one of my stocks it from $360 a share to $322 in a week.. I'm still way ahead of the game and do not plan on selling it.

Only ones getting hurt on the roller coaster are the ones who jump off! I know some who are buying [emoji106][emoji106][emoji106]

I'm not selling... I'm riding it out..

I've ridden out much worse than this.
And if it don't come back, we are in much deeper doodoo than loss of stock values!

I knew you were not, but I have friends who missed all the gains of 2017 because they were burned by the last down time. I just figure when it declines I have more shares/$ and the stocks are on sale.

Congrats on the gold. Mr yellen is going to be a busy bee come Monday.

Mr Yellen pulled their chips off the table and smartly scampered off out of the casino and into oblivion last week...Probably managing a 'Smart Cutz' hair salon? Sooner or later, Old Yellers 'Pumpkin Pie Pixie' coiffeur will be back in fashion?...

Not since Alfalfa on "The Little Rascals" or even the little guy depicted on "Oh Brother Where Art Thou?" have we seen such a fabulous display of a modified Pumpkin Pie wrap around bowl cut!...Not hard at all!...get Lena Dunham to pose as the poster boy and get to work Mr. Yellen!!

Some new Guy named 'Powell' is at the Fed helm..Due to his name, I was hoping for somebody with character and a backbone like John Wesley Powell, the famous one armed war hero and Colorado River Grand Canyon explorer/boatman?

So lets see...maybe at best this guy can find his @ss with one hand, or at the very least, keep things status quo and continue to row this Fed boat in a circle? Hey, with only one arm, should be no problem right? Even with one arm, he could probably fall back and cut hair if things go straight to hell?

Me too, although I sold some stocks (before the roller coaster ride began) that had appreciated so much that it was making me nervous. Basically the portion I sold was worth more than what I had paid for the whole stake. I look at what I kept as being "free" as I got all my money back.

You must be talking about Boeing, right? It's now $332.83.
