Hey! Went to a local park this morning that used to host soccer games. My second target was the gold ring. It's 10k and not too heavy, but still gold. This makes 3 gold finds since I started a few months ago.
I also found my first silver! A big fat band marked sterling. Also dug the normal pop tops and bottle caps, of course.
I've probably got about 60 hours behind my AT Pro and I have to say that I'm feeling confident. I didn't get into this hobby as a get rich quick scheme, but I'm certainly finding more good targets than I had expected. It feels good! Now I just need to find some old coins.
