Anyone use one? I have a Cabela’s edition treasure hunter, used it for years. Never found gold.
This year alone I found a silver and a platinum ring. Still no gold, even in an area 1 was known to be lost on private property.
I usually disc out the first stage of iron. I got upset and pulled out a 10k gold ring to find it wouldn’t ring up when iron disc but rand up as nickel/pulltab with disc completely off.
Is bounty hunter disc that severe it cuts off other metal types? Wouldn’t pick my ring up with basic iron blocked if it was touching the coil, I’m so ticked.
Any opinions?
