Hunted the 'old' soccer complex yesterday. Lots-n-lots of bottle caps, pull tabs, etc. (I think it's now teenager's beer haven) but did pull up some 'firsts'. Not my 1st silver per se (that was a 925 child's ring) but my 1st silver coin. 1964 (last of the silver) Rosie. Also finally dug a Nickle ('99 D) instead of the normal pull tab. Saw a "What's this?" thread a cpl of days ago where the MD'er didn't know he'd found a sickle-mover blade. Darn if I didn't find one myself.
Only 2 1/2 weeks into this 'MD'ing' thing and I've recovered $9.37 in clad and a whopping $0.10 in silver. Most fun I've had in a spell though. Here's yesterday's 'proof pictures'. GL, HH and most of all, have fun doing it!
