Well a couple days ago a friend and I went out to detect a location that has been known to had a large Tribe of Sioux Native Americans who used to camp there. We got permission from the land owner and we started detecting. I opened the screen completely up because I wasn't getting any signals at all. Then my first signal came up as an iron signal and I almost didn't dig it. I assumed it was trash. But since it was the first signal I had gotten I decided to dig it. And out popped this Metal Arrow Head. To be honest I didn't even know the Sioux made metal Arrow Heads but I guess I was wrong!! Anyways decided this was one of my coolest finds so I figured I had to share! If anyone knows anything much about it I would appreciate the info!
Thanks Helgriffan

Iron/steel points are some of the latest examples of trade points.. From what I have read, copper points, are older than a lot of stone types..

very doubtful "they made them" but traded for them instead. its a very cool and uncommon thing to find . congrats
