Well, my cord on my after market replacement headphones
went bad over the weekend.
Not to sure if the W10 module isn't acting up too?
But after replacement of the headphone cord,
I adjusted the volume limit,
Volume gain, threshold level, & Threshold pitch.....
from where I had them set before the headphone cord went bad.
It seemed a little off tonight?
I still would like to adjust them some....
I hit a different curb strip, and managed to find 4 coins before dark.....
2 memorial Lincoln's
1907 V nickel,
And my 52 silver of the season
My first Franklin half! (1948)
Laying face down 6 " deep.
My 5th silver half this season!
BEN has completed my half circle!
It was a "hopeful" coin to find as a goal this year...

Did you replace the cord yourself Dick? Wired correctly? Possible now that it’s “ right” it’s a bit different from when they were “wrong”? Volume Gain still where it was? Sure the speaker is shutting off with headphones being used?
Nice work on the digging, you’re 2 halves ahead of me! Crazy that they’re still being found!

My headphones are from Best Buy, Insigna
I didn't know they had a rechargeable battery in them.....:?:
I charged them over night, maybe that's why my ears are still ringing?
I purchased them last fall, that's ALOT of detecting on a factory charge.
I'll be rereading the Sabisch CTX bible again on those settings......
all the Barber halves and BIG BEN , I found on curb strips.
Walkers, and Seated where found in corn fields and ball fields,
Kennedys I found in city parks and private properties.....

Sweet finds! Them silver half dollars are still hiding from me. One day I'll find one, I can only hope to find some old ones as you have!

So the insignia were wireless? And did the connect directly to the CTX with out the WM10 or wired?

Corded, yes they hook up, to the W10 or the butt of the CTX
you just need the 1/8" to 1/4 " adapter.
I used electrical tape to keep them from coming apart.
It works okay, yet it's a weak link.
Instead of having a solid connection......

Got it just wondering why the batteries in the headphones.

Those halves make for a great collection of history Dick. Congrats at getting Big Ben and completing the cycle, Seated through Kennedy. Trapper
