ATPro question odd signal

I was hitting a local school today cleaning out the easy clad and hoping for a ring or something. Ended up over 3.00 in two hours and my first fidget spinner. Unfortunately it was rusted solid.

The reason for my post is an odd signal that I got while hitting the sidewalk. I got a banging 90+ signal when I scanned parallel to the sidewalk then a very faint 50 if I scanned perpendicular to it. I dug it out but found nothing. I hit the same thing on the other side near the first. Underground pipe? Rebar? This particular sidewalk didn't give me a signal if I swept my coil over it.

Hmm dunno,maybe iron but it usually if its big will read 99 and wrap around to 0

I didn't try that. After I dug and found nada, I moved on. The one on the other side, I just noted that it did the same thing then moved on too. It was well into the 80s at that point, I was hitting prime signals before moving to some old shade trees.

I'll be back though. I need to hit the soccer field. They were playing on it when I got there. I'll see if I can record it too.

Sounds like rebar or concrete wire, pretty common right up on curbs and sidewalks
