I had a great hunt at the farm today, that I’ll post about in a general finds thread but I could use some help identifying these two items.
- One appears to be a gold-plated ornament of some kind. It’s quite large and heavy
- One may be a civil war button of some kind- it appears to feature 3 long guns and the letters P.M.I along with a number of stars around the outside. On the back it says something “??UYLER““New York”
This is in upstate New York on a 19th century farm. Any help or ideas are appreciated!
