13 Solid rolls of 40% silver halves Coin roll hunting

I went to the same bank I got all the 40% & (1) 90% silver halves last week.Picked up 15 rolls total out of that I got 13 solid rolls of 40% halves,like last week written on the rolls in pencil was 1964 & over,but got no 1964's all 65-69.I'm guessing someone is cashing in the collection and the tellers are getting rolls marked 1964 or before and don't know better about 1965-70 or this person is just cashing in there 40%??who knows.I had a good day $130 face value,38.4523 troy oz's in silver = $701.37 value on todays market :cool:

I grabbed 4 Half rolls a couple of weeks ago and everyone was 1970 or higher. Bummer, But Glad to see you got some. Congrats

I picked up $360 dollars worth of halves yesterday.

Found 54 40%
1- 64 kennedy
1-61 frankilin
1-44 Walker.

I'm very happy about that.

Nice haul...neither of my banks regularly have half dollar rolls. And we struck out on 4 rolls of quarters and 3 rolls of dimes this week. :no:

Wish we had banks here who would carry halfs. They say it is a special order item.
