I'm Art from the Discovere Treasaure in RI metal detecting club and if possible would like some feedback on scoring best finds of the month. Presently, our club assigns 3,2,1 points for Gold, Platinum or other jewelry,
Same for Silver and other. I got to thinking, Platinum is harder to find than gold so why should'nt platinum get a higher rating. How about a gold coin, that is like most of us will never dig one up, should gold have a higher rating point? Also, what find categories does your club have/use, we have Gold Silver and Misc. Does anyone have a broader breakdown like a category for coins and one for relics???
