coil cover??

anyone ever thought of coating a coil with that rubber stuff you dip the handles of tools in? i wander if it would come off and how bad it would effect the performance of the machine? i'm just wandering cause i need one and i got a can of that stuff.thanks for reading and HH ya'll. :?:

It's been discussed many a time on our pages. And no, it should not effect the prformance of the machine.

It will work very well... although I have heard that the truck bed liner is near indestructible. RickO

How about this.....

I was looking at the bed liner stuff at Walmart and it looked as though the "rubberized" textured stuff may be a bit "grabby". My question is this....
How about epoxy resins painted on ? It's smooth when hardened.
