Well, like y'all were saying.."just stay at it long enough and keep scoopin'"...!

So early this morning I head down to where a festival just got over with...Usually I knock down some big clad and silver jewelry...last year I got a couple of grams of 14k wire snippets where a jeweler booth was set up...This year, not so much..so I headed over to the Coinstar and ran a cupful of clad thats been building up..., then I went home to do some work.

This afternoon I headed for the Big Lake once more. 69 degrees air temp, 70 degree water temp, overcast, East wind, Lake dead flat! A little sandbar that was there yesterday was gone over night. I hit a signal, just like any other nickel/tab...a solid 53 on the Pro...up comes the scoop...What the Hell? "I know what YOU are!" I said! I kept hunting and hit this little Sterling ring and this tiny 925 earring...

I went on home and checked this ring out with the loupe...'916' its marked...Whats that? (I had to google up what it was) Then I punched the weight and K into Goldcalc...$78.81! For such a tiny little thing! Gonna go out tomorrow with Rat and get some more!

Friends, thanks for the encouragement and sharing your hunts...It really does help keep a person motivated!

Very nice and the little turquoise one is pretty too, now about that scoop. I asked before if you made that.. did you?

Nice job on the 916 Mud... I have a few of those 916's but my hallmarks are on the outside of the rings with a lion head next to the numbers.. I know they are European markings.

Very nice of you, but you could have buried a 10k ring and Mud would have been just as happy. :D
