*update* Turns our the other find was some sort of token but it’s pretty rough, not sure I’ll be able to identify it. Pictures below.
After years of hunting and finding just about everything else, the buffalo nickel has always eluded me. Went to a wooded area that I thought would be promising to hunt. Found the biggest tree in the immediate area and first signal was this toasted 1937 toasted buffalo. Most targets were far and few unless I came close to a trash area just down the hill from the road. Found a bunch of headstamps, a clad 1964 nickel, something that may be a token but it’s pretty toasted too so I have it soaking. I’ll update later if I can get anything off of it.
