I found this today in Southern Oregon.

rings up a solid 13 which is in the nickel range on the equinox
It was about 8" deep so it has been there awhile..

any ideas on age, composition or if it is even Indian related. :?:

closest I personally could find was a "Trade Arrowhead"

This area did have Indian Wars back in the 1855 - 1856

Native Americans made arrowheads from barrel hoops and discarded metal trash when it became available. Not sure if yours is Native American or not. It sure might be.

Millions of arrow head pendants are made for necklaces. Mathematically the chances of it being a necklace are much greater than It being a metal, Indian arrow head. Plenty of pull taps are found 8inches down so that doesn’t necessarily mean it’s old. Just sayin...
