What are these two ornate things?

Item 1: Looks like a buckle (probably brass or copper), but I'm not 100% sure if it's a buckle because I've never seen one like that. It's also got a thin bar across it (which broke while cleaning the dirt off). Measures 1.5in by 2in, and found it at an old home site.

Item 2: No idea what it is, I guess it's flower shaped with a hook at the back. It's either copper or brass, also measures 1.5in by 2in and also found it an old home site.

Yea I guess late 1800's early 1900's as well. They are a good indication of the age of where you're hunting.
