1957 British one shilling

In 1957 I don't think any silver was used in a shilling coin.

At the time, there were twelve shillings to the pound (£)
 
Shillings made after 1947 were cupro-nickel IIRC.
I have a 1963 Shilling that I got for $.15 from the foreign coin box at the coins store...
