Exploring a permission on the island in Maine where I live, this 1826 Matron Head Large Cent just 'peeped' slightly on the AT Pro. It was in the high 70's but barely gave out a sound. Only was able to pinpoint it with the sensitivity all the way up. It was down more than a foot -- and under a large root.

Minutes later and about 20 feet away my friend rang up a 1740 KG II half-penny! He's been hunting only since this spring. It was a real treat to have him come up with his first 1700's coin.

Made both of our days! We're going back to this site!

Cheers,
--Bert
