I picked up a box of misc. stuff today and in the bottom of the box was a pin. It looks like gold but the stamp has me thinking it isn't. Can anyone tell me from the stamp if it is gold or just plated?

Thanks,
Doug

Looks like the top is 10k gold, I'm sure that was a lot of help...
wouldn't it say 10k gp or 10k gf if it wasn't gold...:?:

I guess it is real gold! Here is the pic of the front of the pin. There are a LOT of examples for sale all over the Internet. It looks like the company who made it used TOP as their mark

That looks like gold to my eyes, mind you they're 44 year old eyes that don't exactly see the way they did 20 years ago.:D

This actually has turned out really good! My uncle has a birthday in 9 days (turning 69). He is a retired Methodist Minister and has quite of collection of items from that denomination. It will be given to him as a gift.

I found a sterling ring with the same mark . Had gold top on it turned out to be all sterling with gold plated top. But it was marked 10k top.
