Not a super huge relic guy.....but that is really cool!!!
I suppose if there was more local history with CW or even RW activity in my area I could get more serious about it. I did hunt the fringes of a RW site once, but couldn't get to the area I wanted for lack of permission.
Those plates are super, and the boots really do, as previously mentioned, add a personal touch to the find. Grid it!!!

Amazing the quality of leather back then...!!!! leather from most of today's goods wouldn't last ten years in the ground.
The best grain of leather tanned with the best preservatives and tumbled for a 100 days...who has time for that today?
