Got out yesterday for a few hrs with the Equinox, got a high squealing 32 in All Metal field 2 and out pops this plate, I’ve been over this spot many times! Might be something to this multi freq stuff😲

These Buckles were originally made 168 years ago in 1851 for Union Cavalry Officers and had the SILVER WREATH INLAY... few and far between..:wow:

Sweet find Norm.

I've found some general service eagle buttons and a cuff link but never a buckle. I want one....

Truly envious! Great find I just got the 800 and love the weight of it and the fast recovery

Its my first Eagle plate and finding one has always been in the back of my mind but I'll guarantee that if you get your coil over one it'll be a signal like you've never heard before..High, Loud, Big, and Solid. all the good sounds rolled into one. Hope you get to hear that. Persevere and you will.

I'm not going to clean it up. I prefer dug relics to look like it as long as you can tell what they are.
