I had to travel to Boston for a couple days for work and decided not to take my detector because of all the snow they have been getting.
Surprisingly, just 50-60 miles to the south in RI the ground is not even frozen!
Luckily, I drove past a hobby shop with a Garrett's sign.
For only? $20 I got to rent an Ace 250 for the afternoon.
Hunted around, not in, this old 1850's cemetery.
No propointer really sucked, but any day swinging in February is a good day.
Got a huge caliber "rim-fire" casing too?
Also found my first dropped antler (eyeball find) hah-hah.
