Saturday morning I hunted a new-to-me park for four hours. In the heat & humidity with the gnats, I got my typical clad amount: fifty-eight coins for $2.21, two quarters, four nickels, eleven dimes, and forty-one pennies.
I did uncover an extremely interesting piece though. Just under the surface of shredded tire chips in a playground, I found a valid Mexican passport! I've mailed the passport to the Mexican consulate office in Orlando.
I've got about $40 to go to reach my goal of $100 in clad by December 31st. We'll see, but the clock is ticking.
