For some reason I couldn't update my previous thread anymore, so I have to start a new one.
Here is the link for Part One -
http://metaldetectingforum.com/showthread.php?t=153639

This place - used to be a local park - simply amazing: I'm way over 120 silver coins from this single location plus some nice jewelry.

The pictures below are showing the results of three latest trips to my "mine" over the last two weeks.

There are some interesting finds - including Italian 5 Liras aluminum coin with dolphin on it from 1954, couple of religious items (one of them junk), no year Buffalo with very cool grass imprints, "Small Y" NYC subway token (1953-1970) and small copper bracelet with cool native Indian motifs – sun, eagles, snakes and arrows, marked "copper bell".
Plus a lot of silver coins.
And some rings.
I finally crossed out another item from my wish list - found my first gold class ring from 1959.
There is a story attached to this ring, but it's for separate thread.
I also found another class ring - in silver and couple of nice silver bands - one with the blue stone made in 1951, judging by the maker’s mark and small sterling one with owner initials on inside.
Last, but not least - I found my first complete golden chain, small bracelet of some sort.

Here are the pictures - enjoy!

P.S.

I'm seriously thinking about combining my “mine” threads and moving it into "eye popping" section.
I feel like it's already belong over there. :)

Wow!!!:wow::wow: I wont find that much silver or gold this year. Great hunts. Would love to have my own silver mine!

To find a place like you have is just amazing. Congtas. Has to be more there to find.

Wow, that's insane!:shock::shock: My eyes are definitely popping out.

Same here!

It looks like you were lucky to find one of those rarely hunted places. Congrats!

How far does the place go back as a park? Before it was turned into a park, was there a lot of foot traffic already?

You've found the type of site that we all would love to find in our life times.
