For gold prospecting which is better

I will be along the river and streams and maybe wanting to dip the coil in a foot or so of water. I am looking at the Minelab Eureka Gold, the Fisher Gold Bug 2, and the Fisher Gold Bug Pro.

I know I will need to learn the detector.

I think the Eureka with its 3 operating freq is good but I think the coil cant go in the water.

I hear the gold bug 2 is a good unit and can get wet, and the GB pro is just a digital version of the GB2

What do you guys think.

For gold detecting only the gold bug II is the most sensitive for small targets. That would bs my choice.

Its a good machine for gold as well. The GB II is just more sensitive to small gold/nuggets. That why I suggested it.
