zinc mason jar lids

I'm posting this here because I know there's at least one or two jar guys that look here, but mods feel free to move to help ID section if you please.

I found a zinc jar lid that I think dates to 1900-1910, however, the closest example I can find reads "GENUINE BOYD CAPS", but mine looks to very cleanly stop at "GENUINE BOY". This cap has certainly seen better days, but the area of the missing letters looks pretty clean. It doesn't really seem to be rubbed down smooth. It's like they were never there. Anybody seen this before?

nice fine Chris I have not seen any like that. I agree this would go in the display bottles section
 
Never seen one like this. But don't you love finding them and there is no treasure jar there. I have four already this year. Probably the kids swiping a jar of peaches and getting rid of the evidence. Pretty cool find you have there. A keeper.
