I haven't had much time for cleaning and posting lately but I have found time for a few hunts. This will be a pic heavy post but there's some pretty good stuff to show and tell
Here's a nice spread of things. The ID braclet is NOT silver and it doesn't have any name or markings . The bullets are .25 caliber
There's a piece of a Texan Jr. cap gun and an eye piece to a compass
The usual mix of bullet casings. They're brass and no relic hunter can pass on a high brass tone. I was expecting a collar disk on every one of them
Aren't those a beautiful bunch of relics?!! My first cavalry disk, another bronze infantry disk and my first officer's "Major" pin
I'm not really a coin hunter and generally I don't find many coins in this location but I was able to dig three silvers which, of course, is always a treat. (1954 rosie and two 1943 Mercs)
I don't find many rings there either but this knot ring was a sweet find. I have no idea if it's silver or not but it was well made either way
This Transportation collar disk was a nice find. It's my second one but this is the older, three-piece style
This zippo was interesting because someone hammered "Japan" onto it. I wonder what the motivation for that was?
Here is my first bird tag. It rang up like silver and I was expecting a coin when I dug it. It drove me nuts trying to find it and I had no idea what it was until I got it home and cleaned it. It was 7-8 inches deep.
This rang up with a very sweet high tone. It's 960 sterling. Just one of those random items I found while hunting.

These are things I found last Saturday. A Washington State tax token, a piece of a watch band and an honest to goodness, Government Issued Anti-Werewolf round. I'm sure it's pure silver and I'll save it just in case!
Here's a close-up of the ID bracelet bird. It's a shame that it's so crusty. I would have worn it
