Nova Scotia, Canada, eh.
we had some decent flying weather today. i took a few aerials this morning looking out over the bay and decided to give it another try after sunset and with a nearly full moon over the water from a similar position.
well, most of my night shots came out blurry from the choppers' movement combined with a slow shutter speed. :(
the sun and moon shots are looking towards the south east and the other 2 are looking north east.
altitude for all photos was 150 feet with a 170 degree wide angle camera setting.

so that's the view from my other hobby.... r/c flying/aerial photography. :D

Pete

note: in first 2 photos, the land jutting out on the far right, right on the horizon, is the famed Oak Island!!

Those are some cool shots. Sounds like a fun hobby!

Out of curiosity, how much does the whole camera setup weigh?

That's realy cool!

thank you! :D
what i'm wondering is how many neighbors might have seen it and thought: UFO!!! ;) the quadcopter has nice bright little led's all over it, but unless you're really close, you won't hear it as it's no louder than a fan running. :giggle::giggle:
but i will admit, it's a LOT easier to fly in the dark than it is when it's light out! much easier to see it's orientation.

here's a couple shots of the quad. that little torpedo shaped thing underneath is the iON Air Pro action cam.
