It is 1 gram of 24K The chain and bezel are 14K as well, so value is at least slightly over the spot price for a gram. Id say the workers just weren't paying attention - the girl we checked out with gave it a long sideways glance as she rang it up! I mean, this is Alaska, everyone knows what gold looks like here!
