Since I posted, but I had to post this one! Got out for about an hour tonight after work and hit a local park to test out my 8x6 coil. I got a steady 12-47/48 and a sweet sound, thought it was a quarter, but out popped out this :lookclose:!! I knew it right away, it was gold! I was doubting it but then I see the 925+20K inside! I couldn't believe it...It always amazes me when something like this shows up, I was hoping for silver, expecting a quarter and got this!!

Anyone know what the writing is? I was guessing Arabic??

Thanks for looking!

That's a wild ring there! Big congrats!

I think that is Hebrew ... if so common to use the Song of Solomon as text on rings. Good luck with the ID

Wow 20k that is a killer find congrats!

Thanks! I have only found 14k so it was a nice suprise! Check 20k off the bucket list! Now 18 and 24!

Nice!! Does it fit?

It a little tight, I almost got it stuck!

The writing is English. It says "you lucky SOB "
Hahaha! Yes it does!

Nice! My Hebrew is a bit rusty as you can tell I thought it was Arabic! Thanks for the info!

It says:

Ash nazg durbatulûk, ash nazg gimbatul,
ash nazg thrakatulûk agh burzum-ishi krimpatul.

Which translates to:

One Ring to rule them all, One Ring to find them,
One Ring to bring them all and in the darkness bind them.

That ring looks so precious!
