I received my new coil from John Gurley today. For you guys that don't know he has started a detecting business https://www.digthatbeep.com/. You can also check out his YouTube videos https://www.youtube.com/digthatbeepteam. He is a great guy and can offer really good deals on detecting equipment. I went back to the school today and when I got there I noticed I forgot to pair my headphones to the new coil. I told my buddy to go ahead and get started. Not two mins later he screams I got a merc!!!!! And wouldn't you know it, he found it in the spot I was headed too lol!!! I ended finding a 1918 wheatie, a old broken dog tag, a whole reed to a harmonica and a Danville transit token. Ty for looking and HH!

Another nice hunt. Please post your thoughts on the 11" vs 9" coils after you get a little time with the new coil. Is it significantly heavier?
