my parents house was built in the 50s.
when my parents were looking at the house to buy it my mom was looking around and ticked in the foundation of one of the old buildings there she said there was a small box that had coins and buttons of some type in it. when they bought the house finally my mom went back to look the box was gone. thinking that it was just washed away by rain and so on
fast forward a few years and while living there my older brother found a German coin of some type right in the same area
that my mom had seen this small box of coins.
with brush and so on o haven't ever been able to do any hunting around this area. well today I took a bit and did a little looking. loads of trash but managed to pull out a Belgium Frank minted 1941 to 1947 was in pretty decent shape other than the one side was pretty damaged. but managed to figure it out by the capital JL on the obverse. still got to clean it up a bit to see of I can see a date on it.
don't have any pictures yet of it but will try and get a couple
