Help Identifying this buckle

This was found in the same area as a 1743 2 reale and an 1806 half dollar. The image shows what appears to be a palm tree with a curved fish underneath. The large diameter is about the size of a silver dollar and the tongue piece is between a quarter and half dollar. Thanks for your help.

That looks like a civil war buckel. I dont know what state but i know its confederate. You may have a good one there.
 
Well it is not SC Civil War buckle. It can be any of the southern maritime states. Well minus La because the majority of their had the Pelican on it. Could very well be a Miss buckle for their Naval Force, or it is some regional buckle for someone who fished for a living. But since it is not Wreathed on the ring that may very well be what it is. Considering how large fishing has been in the Gulf Coast areas that is a possibility, all I know it it is not a SC buckle.
