Can anyone help with this button?

I dug this button yesterday. It's cuff size, and appears to have a cherubims face on it. The shank's still on the back but its rusty, and I can't see a makers mark. What year would this be from?

I can't tell you a lot, but that it has an iron back would likely indicate it is a civilian button.
