I found this three feet down in an excavation site. I've determined the bottle is hand blown and made by Edward Everett Co. Between 1885-1904. I cannot find the exact logo that's on it. Anyone recognize this?

He was pretty important in the bottling world.
If you search for him, you'll see his "house"...ridiculous.

bit of info and a link to more info about the company.

there's even a book about him:
“Edward Hamlin Everett: The Bottle King” by G. Wallace Chessman & Curtis W. Abbott , 1991, published by Robbins Hunter Museum, Granville, Ohio).

from glassbottlemarks as well.

some more reading: seems he was prominent in the beginnings of Owens Illinois.

Just bringing up my old thread to see if anyone could I.D. It yet. Still unsure, sorry pics are upside down.

I can't help much, just an observation. It looks a bit like the Anheiser-Busch eagle logo. With a U instead of an E. Early competitor?
