It is a numbered piece. It is identical to the ones on ebay.

It's definitely not scrap, so it has a higher value, than simply melting it. Scrap is pretty much useless for any other purpose, or you are in a hurry to get the minimal cash value.

Still think it's worth a lot more, and would make a nice gift for someone, which would be appreciated more, than if you went out a spent considerably more. Melt it for a few dollars, or save buying a gift later on...
