Swimming in a CNY creek today and I pulled this from the bottom.
Has an arrow on one end, a star on the other and then what looks like 1836 or 1838 in the middle. Opposite side is just arrow and a star. Made of clay?

Looks like a spacer under a vacuum tube like in an amplifier. They are set a certain way, so a directional arrow could make sense. But if the numbers are a date, it won't make sense.

Made me think of this old bulb I brought back from a dump because I found it interesting.... I have it sitting in a white porcelain light bulb base (also from the dump) in a cabinet in my basement. If that spacer fits, I might need to find one to complete the set!

Edit: I see mine has RCA on it so I suppose it’s a tube from an old radio. I am trying to find photos of the guts of these radios to see if I can find that ceramic piece….also, that new big head Washington quarter looks goofy!

Yup, that's an old vacuum tube! They will glow a little, but not like a light.
