Last week, I got permission to hunt a property that had a house on it from the 1930's. I say "had" because the developer had already torn down the house and semi-leveled the yard with a bulldozer. I think some fill dirt was added in places as well. Turned out to be pretty frustrating - bunch of trash signals with only a few modern pennies to show for my trouble. (I wasn't going to post this "non-event" but since someone else did, I figured why not?). On a more positive note, I headed over to an old sports field and scored a buffalo nickel of indeterminate date.
