Large copper disc Paige

I found this today at the old saloon in Milwaukee.
I have found coins dating to 1881 here.

This is approximately 2-7/8" in diameter and appears that it once had some kind of seal around the perimeter with 4 "rivets".

It says Paige in the diamond in the center.

Any ideas?

It's from a Paige automobile. Looks like it may be part of a Paige "motometer", a thermometer that (screws into the radiator cap).
