This was one of my best days over the summer. I haven't gotten out lately.

The draped bust was too toasted on the obverse for a date, but I'm not complaining!

Congrats on the great hunt!

I've never found a DB, toasted or not, so I definitely wouldn't complain either.

Okay, I took a close look at my draped bust yesterday and looking at it sideways in certain light, I could make out that it's an 1805. Yes, I'm figuring this out some three months after I found it (at least).
