Bailed out of work a couple hours early today to hit my Rev War spot before it gets replanted. Had a great couple hours. One toasted large copper, 10 buttons, a thimble, a piece of lead that looks like a lead pencil (?) and what I think is a coin but not sure. It seems to be copper, a little smaller then a quarter, toasted on one side but the other side looks like two lions in a shield. Anyone have a clue what it is? Thanks for looking!

Coin Id'ed thanks to Coinshark. Indonesia (Dutch East Idies) Duit 1741 - 1794

The design style and coin size....23mm, just smaller than a quarter.
My guess is an Indonesia Dutch West Indies Copper Duit
Minted in Utrecht in 1741-1794.
On the reverse: the Coat of Arms...Full crown on shield with two lions divided
If I'm right...on the other side of the coin there should be a large V with a smaller O and C on seperate legs of the V, and the date.

Half Duit would only be about 18mmin size, the size of a dime.

Thank You Coinshark!!!!

I just pulled up a picture of a 23mm copper Duit after reading your reply and that is what it is! Can't make out the date but know it's somewhere between 1741 and 1794! Wow ..... I'm stoked!!! That's awesome!!!
