Hunting has been pretty slow lately, so I've been picking through my finds. I set up a little dc adapter wall wart mason jar electrolysis unit and have been playing with it a bit. Works good so far. I've got some large pieces I want to clean/de-rust and was going to use a battery charger for them. Would electrolysis stop the corrosion caused after pulling them from their years of saltwater submersion? Would a rubbermaid container be safe (electrically insulated) enough? I was also wondering what the advantage of using stainless on the positive side is other than it's easier to clean. This sure is fun!
