The CZ-6 a;ready has a slotted panel on the back that can be attached to a belt for use as a hip-mount.

im aware of that, didnt like the idea of having it too exposed
the belt that I want to use is a sealed one with clips on the end
I love the extra protection for my control box in case it fells down or gets hit with branches or tools I can even put it in my back pack with all my stuff and dont worry about it
also have extra pouches to hook my pointer, probe and other tools
it even has a measuring tape clip so you can quick hang it which is a plus
but thats my opinion
