Neat, looks like someone pressed a coin into that lead to make the impression, if so, not sure why they would do that though

Not really difficult to reproduce, but simple.
They are cool when you dig them.

First thought was perhaps a homemade die for counterfeiting, but some it's lead, probably not durable enough for a strike or a cast.
