AD100-200: Cavalry buckle.

One part of a Roman 'Kidney-bean' two part buckle and plate was quite an unexpected find amongst all the buttons I pulled out of one particular field here in England.

Due to most of the local fields now being seeded I have to go into fields that I try and avoid.............not any more!

Thank you. Reading the link it looks to have been from a military person, no record of military in the area so may have been a casual loss?
