RI Beaches

Hi I use a garrett 2500 w imaging any suggestions on RI beaches I am headed out this weekend and am determined to find a ring! I have found a lot of pennies, dimes, quarters and other items. I usually dig 6-8 inches should I be digging deeper my detector goes 12+ inches but I am new and not sure what depth I should be digging to?
