New to NM.

Santa Fe
Rowe Mesa

Also, I know of a place that has (well... had... I haven't seen it in a few years) a great hiking trail in an arroyo. HOWEVER I don't want to hit THAT until late sumemr or after several weeks of dry spell. Arroyos are dry riverbeds and here in NM they ARE prone to flash floods. ANY time you hit an arroyo... check the weather for the surrounding areas. People get killed in those things.
