Congratulations on your first gold find. I recently made my first too. From your first 2 photos I was thinking this was a lot bigger. But 3.4 grans of joy is 3.4 grams of joy! Happy hunting

I didn't see it but I believe that B.R.G. will be Brass Rolled Gold.
I have a set of gold teeth I found years ago that are 9kt gold. I still have them because no pawn shop would take them with the other pieces I was scraping as t the time.
