If your hunting around water I recommend a AT-Gold with true all metal mode and purchase a bigger coil for added depth and coverage. And it's water proof drop any of the other machines mentioned and they're messed up. I've dug Civil War bullets with mine using the 8.5x11" coil in all metal mode around 11"-12".

I'd look into the ML 705, Deus, or AT gold. If EMI is an issue, I would not recommend a T2 or F75.
