How to start the ML upgrade file in XP mode?

I assume you are not running Windows XP but want to run your system in Windows XP compatibility mode? There are a number of ways. I have Windows 7 and the upgrade app refused to connect up to my Nox. I also noticed the app had stopped running. I closed the app; went to the directory into which I had downloaded the app; right clicked on the .exe file and selected "Analyze compatibility" (or something like that). I then allowed Windows to run in the Windows XP (service pack 2) compatibility mode, which is the one the analyzer had selected, and it successfully updated my Nox.
