I had want to hunt the afternoon low tide but conditions were going to be rough so instead I opted for another dry sand beach hunt. I knew there wasn’t any way I would be as lucky as my last time out in the dry sand so my goal was just to have some fun killing some clad and trying to get over 100 coins. I got to the beach with my Deleon and my “sandmower” coil and was hunting before the sun came up. Less than an hour into the hunt, next to one of those far away concession stands I get a choppy PT signal. I had just dug a couple of them so that’s what I expected when I pulled up the “B” pendant. I initially thought it was junk but as I cleaned off the compact wet sand around it I saw a marking on the loop! :dingding: OH YEAH!!! I hunted for just over 3 hours seeing only a couple of pirates; an older lady working the sand and another working the wet sand. I actually talked for a while to the pirate that was working the sand he was much younger than me and had been detecting almost twice as long. He had come recently from Cuba and was telling me his detecting stories of how that’s what he did to make ends meet in Cuba. He had just bought a Whites Pi Pro and told me how he had modded it getting more depth.

When I got home I was happy to see that I’d gotten over 100 coins. I was also VERY happy that one of my foreign coins was a 2 euro coin since I’ll be using that one in a few months! ;) The pendant weighs a nice 6.78 grs. of 14K and the diamonds test out good! Not a bad dry sand day with another unexpected gold!

Nice Felix.. I also think Barbara is right and you should return it to her... :D

Congrats on a nice hunt! Lots of sparkle to that "B"! I just found my first gold ever, posted in the War Relics forum. It "fit" too!

B is for BARBARA! :) Pretty find! That's one smart bird too :)

I actually thought of you making that comment! Me and the wife played the "B" name game with it. Some of my rarer names were "Brunhilda" and "Blythe".
